About the role
- Lead medium-to-large technical programs ($500K+) across data science, data engineering, AI/ML, and digital initiatives, driving cost, schedule, scope, and resource management
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Connected Aviation, other SBUs, and Digital Technology (DT) teams to ensure successful delivery of high-impact data solutions
- Enable Agile teams to stay aligned with strategic priorities, emphasizing customer value, portfolio visibility, and delivery accountability
- Manage program risks and dependencies, prepare executive-level progress reports, and recommend solutions to complex program challenges
- Support vendor and contractor oversight, ensuring alignment with program objectives and performance expectations
- Contribute to continuous improvement, helping strengthen program management standards and execution across the Aviation Intelligence portfolio.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
- Demonstrated experience leading medium to large technical programs ($500K+)
- Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and tools
- Experience with executive-level influence skills, partnering with senior leadership across engineering, digital technology, and product teams
- Experience working in Agile environments and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, or similar analytical tools
- Understanding of SQL databases and software engineering practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD frameworks and DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains
- Proven communication and presentation skills with ability to influence leadership
- Strong strategic thinking and business planning capability.
