About the role
- Learn Configuration Management (CM) policies and procedures and participate at internal CM meetings by sharing working knowledge.
- Assist in writing and processing engineering changes, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
- Support the review and verification of minor engineering changes for compliance with standard procedures.
- Collaborate with Design Integration teams, IPTs (Integrated Product Teams), and CIPTs (Component Integrated Product Teams) to support Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities.
- Participate in team initiatives to improve configuration management processes using the CORE operating system framework.
- Gain hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Teamcenter, SAP, or other product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
- Assist in maintaining configuration management records and documentation to ensure traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on configuration management practices.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Genuine interest in learning about and pursuing a career in aviation and aerospace.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability to address new business challenges.
