About the role
- Design, develop, and enhance software solutions for communication and cyber intelligence systems with guidance.
- Test software in an Agile development environment.
- Work directly with Senior software engineers, project engineers, and supporting organizations to ensure successful software project execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Collins development processes and standard work requirements.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Educational knowledge and project application on software development using Linux and/or C++
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge in basic Linux shell scripting, Python or Perl
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or C#
- Software level debugging experience
- Experience with Database technologies
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Coverity.
