About the role

  • Oversee, manage and implement the data governance framework for the Material Master Data domain
  • Create and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective and secure management of master data
  • Leverage best practices and industry standards in master data governance to analyze process health
  • Ensure data quality, preparing for future governance tools and ERP solutions
  • Articulate the organization's data governance vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Own Material Master Data Governance processes, tools, and data standards
  • Ensure that data governance practices align with organizational goals and objectives
  • Establish guidelines and protocols for data management, including data quality, data privacy, and compliance
  • Define and engage functional data owners for processes including, but not limited to, Finance, Planning, Production Control, Procurement, Global Trades, Quality & Warehousing
  • Ensure that data practices comply with relevant policies and procedures to protect data privacy and security
  • Train and educate employees about data governance policies and best practices
  • Monitor and report key metrics reflecting the effectiveness of data governance initiatives
  • Lead regular governance reviews focused on process non-conformance reduction, data trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Present monthly results to executive leadership
  • Manage standard work / policies / procedures / KPIs
  • Collaborate across functional areas to manage change and implement new processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience in Operations or Supply Chain
  • Knowledge and familiarity with SAP System transactions
  • Experience with Data Governance
  • APICS / ASCM certification
  • Raytheon Six Sigma, or CORE advanced certification
  • Ability to process and communicate information using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • SQL and data analytics experience
