About the role
- Interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers/manufacturers
- Provide obsolescence engineering support to multiple program integrated product teams (IPT's.)
- Review component specifications to determine applicable part requirements
- Review procurement history to determine part availability and possible
- Utilize internal tools and external subscription services to aid in determining part availability
- Updating RTX obsolescence tools to ensure part availability and mitigation data is tracked
- Generating obsolescence reports
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to multitask and be well organized
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
