About the role

  • Support the mechanical teams in all phases of design cycles, from concept development through design, development, build and test
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems related to the product life cycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test of phase array radars/electronics
  • Supervise the definitions of mechanical outline and construction details, component selection, mechanical and assembly drawings, electrical/RF layout
  • Support and participate in design peer reviews, resolving issues, and conduct trade studies for sound technical decisions
  • Provide technical conscience, ensuring the product and process meet appropriate standards and requirements
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and awareness of team goals
  • Lead retrospectives to discuss actionable improvements using methods within and beyond CORE system

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)
  • A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years designing and developing mechanical equipment, preferably for use in Military environments
  • Experience with phase array structures, hardware packaging, radome or array integration for military or mechanical or commercial applications
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date
