About the role

  • Support and lead process improvement actions for APU Quality processes for both PWA and Supplier initiatives
  • Engage with Suppliers to support supplier self-release requirements to train and approve supplier DQR’s
  • Lead 8D root cause and corrective action activities with suppliers to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement quality improvement plans and initiatives
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to address supplier-related quality and delivery issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to ensure understanding and adherence to quality requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  • minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience with supplier assessments, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience with inspection tools and manual layout
  • Proficiency in quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SAP, QLIK, Quality Management Systems)
