About the role
- Lead the technical investigation and resolution of design, build, and test issues identified on Receiver Exciter subsystems, CCAs, and components.
- RF/Microwave circuit and sub-system design, modeling, simulation, and verification.
- Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
- Transition to production and technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
- Lead small project or processes improvements within area of responsibility.
- Lead circuit card and subassembly design updates to resolve obsolescence and producibility issues.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years’ of prior work experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience.
- Experience with Microwave / RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and test.
- Experience leading analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations; Preferably with supplier and factory issues.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
