About the role
- Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
- Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
- Working with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc.
- Schematic capture and RF routing.
- Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- minimum 5 years of prior work experience (or minimum 3 years with an Advanced Degree)
- Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
- Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required post-start.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
