About the role

  • Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
  • Design and optimization of RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.).
  • Working with interdisciplinary teams – power, digital, mechanical, etc.
  • Schematic capture and RF routing.
  • Technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience.
  • Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and/or test.
  • Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS, CST, and/or Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition) and analytical tools (e.g., MATLAB).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
