About the role
- Work with product managers, technical leadership, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to support the team as we bring advanced data capabilities to RTX.
- Design, Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
- Lead a team of software development and quality assurance engineers with various levels of expertise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or other JS frameworks)
- Experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java
- Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
