About the role

  • Demonstrate Technical Leadership by driving design, development, integration, and testing to meet performance requirements
  • Ensure contractual commitments for cost, schedule, and technical performance are met for their assigned scope
  • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams to work cohesively towards common goals
  • Provide clear, concise status updates, technical details, risks, and solutions to program managers
  • Develop and execute program plans and budgets
  • Make subsystem decisions and guide the team
  • Partner with leads to provide cost-effective technical solutions
  • Early identification of risks and opportunities, along with mitigation plans
  • Responsible for proposal efforts, negotiations, and reviews for any new scope

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 10 years’ of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 7 years’ of prior work experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years of prior work experience to include experience with project/program management tools, systems, and/or methodologies
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience with Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
  • Experience with proposal or capture efforts
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start
  • U.S. citizenship is required
