About the role

  • Solve complex technical problems and provide highly innovative and ingenious solutions in Radar and Receiver Exciter design, analysis, integration, and test
  • Liaison between many Radar system components
  • Responsible for Radar Receiver Exciter data analysis and calibration, integration of hardware with firmware and software, and resolving system level issues
  • Support system and subsystem level radar integration planning, execution, and reporting
  • Resolve complex technical issues seen during design, integration, and test of Radar Receiver and Exciter sub-systems
  • Analyze Radar and Receiver data to identify and resolve system performance issues
  • Develop calibration solutions for receiver/exciters
  • to meet top level radar performance specifications
  • Work across mechanical, electrical, software and systems engineering disciplines to troubleshoot hardware and software issues outside of Receiver and Exciter Subsystems
  • May require up to a one (1) year assignment at a different location, such as shipyard locations.
  • Requires extended hours, off-shift hours, and traveling (Domestic/International) with short notice

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ of prior work experience
  • Experience with RF and/or Radar systems
  • 3+ years’ of experience in System or subsystem Integration, Verification and Validation
  • Radar and/or receiver systems design and integration
  • Programming in MATLAB, C/C++
  • RF Circuit design and analysis
  • In-phase and quadrature (I&Q data) processing and analysis
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
