About the role

  • Organizing and facilitating key Agile ceremonies, including Team Syncs, Iteration Planning, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and focused.
  • Identifying and eliminating roadblocks and impediments that hinder team progress, enabling the team to focus on delivering value.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members on Agile principles and practices, helping them to self-organize and improve their performance.
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner to manage the Team Backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and refined to maximize value delivery.
  • Tracking team metrics and performance, providing insights to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Building and fostering a high-performing team culture by promoting collaboration, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Being a champion for a culture of relentless improvement by encouraging feedback and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborating with other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to coordinate dependencies and align on objectives across Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience working with Product Owners.
  • Working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to communicate with Enterprise-level DT Organizations
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Team Coach in an Agile environment, preferably within a SAFe framework.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across teams and with vendors
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
