About the role

  • Support multiple business units within Power & Controls by managing procurement activities that enable on-time delivery to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including quoting, negotiation preparation, cost analysis, and purchase execution in alignment with established policies and standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for order status inquiries, changes, and issue resolution to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Programs, and Quality to resolve medium to complex supply chain challenges.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate supply chain risks to prevent production disruptions or line stops.
  • Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with commercial, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Manage supplier-led transitions and changes in scope through formal governance and review processes.
  • Proactively coordinate with suppliers to schedule, expedite, or recover deliveries impacted by shortages, quality issues, or capacity constraints.
  • Own and actively manage assigned supplier relationships, driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure materials and services are delivered on time, at the right cost, and to required quality standards.
  • Support delivery assurance and recovery activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Procurement, buying, or supplier management experience within aerospace, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry
