About the role
- Develop and execute a long-term engineering roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and engineering managers across software, electronics, and mechanical domains
- Strengthen the technical depth and breadth of the organization
- Manage organizational performance across cost, schedule, quality, and technical metrics
- Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
- Build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams
- Lead efforts in talent acquisition, development, mentoring, and retention
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, processes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 12 years prior relevant experience
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in delivering technical solutions within the aerospace or similar safety-critical industries.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
