About the role
- Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas to include: vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments
- Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements
- Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions
- Support onsite manufacturing builds
- Troubleshoot mechanical fixtures and provide root cause corrective action analysis
- Management and release of technical data packages
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, or STEM
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Experience with CAD solid modeling tools and analysis tools with an emphasis on ProE / CREO Parametric
- US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
