About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Task Leader for Registered Apprenticeship projects, including industry intermediaries.
- Tasks can include sponsor/employer recruitment and outreach and technical assistance to sponsors/employers.
- Provide intensive technical assistance to entities in 10+ states.
- Manage the reporting and documentation of activities and outcomes in customer’s Salesforce environment to input apprenticeship data.
- Represent RTI and the projects to senior leadership at state agencies, local agencies, national organizations and associations, and corporations.
- Provide expert-level Registered Apprenticeship knowledge and understanding across the project.
- Create scientific stature opportunities through presenting at conferences and publishing blogs and other media.
- Mentor staff in understanding the nuances of the apprenticeship system.
- Contribute to proposals related to apprenticeship and workforce development.
- Collaborate with partners including other DOL-funded intermediaries, organizations, and policy organizations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors’ degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least one year of experience working for a state apprenticeship agency.
- Experience reporting apprenticeship data through the U.S. Department of Labor’s reporting systems.
- Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures related to Registered Apprenticeship (RA).
- Expertise with RA system, including but not limited to, §29 CFR part 29, scaling RA nationally, building high quality career pathways to RA, convening stakeholders, improving processes, and developing partnership strategies.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship for employment visa status.
