Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain Excel-based financial models to support proposal pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
Analyze cost structures, staffing assumptions, and pricing scenarios to support competitive and sustainable proposals.
Perform variance analysis, margin analysis, and financial scenario modeling to inform decision-making.
Partner with senior team members to translate project requirements into structured financial models.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across proposals and projects.
Assist in monitoring project financial performance, including tracking budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
Support project teams with basic financial reporting and analysis.
Identify trends or variances and escalate insights to senior finance partners.
Identify opportunities to improve financial modeling, reporting, and proposal workflows.
Support the development of proposal budgets, including cost estimates, pricing structures, and resource plans.
Coordinate proposal inputs across technical, operational, and financial teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
2+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, pricing, consulting, or related fields
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, scenario analysis)
Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret complex datasets
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
