About the role
- Leading multiple DevOps teams that support development squads across the organization
- Defining and driving technical direction, ensuring alignment of cloud and infrastructure strategy
- Promoting DevOps and platform engineering best practices across teams
- Actively contributing as a senior DevOps engineer within one of the teams
- Designing, building, and optimizing cloud infrastructure
- Enhancing CI/CD processes, improving observability standards
- Supporting complex migrations from on-premises environments to Google Cloud Platform
- Collaborating closely with other Team Leads to ensure consistent implementation of cloud strategy
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar
- 2+ years of experience in a DevOps Team Lead or technical leadership role
- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineers, including planning work, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring high delivery standards
- Experience coordinating DevOps efforts across multiple teams and driving cross-team technical initiatives
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for GCP)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and management
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
- Proven experience building and optimizing observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana, including metrics design, alerting strategies, and dashboarding
