Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues
Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and tools
Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based on overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed
Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues and discussing with engagement teams to solve issues
Researching technical accounting issues and developing industry expertise
Preparing audit reports and management letters
Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhering to the code of ethics while on engagements
Ensuring documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm
Working collaboratively as part of the team and communicating effectively with RSM audit professionals and US-based engagement teams
Providing supervision and development training for associates and taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables
Providing timely, high quality client service, coordinating development and execution of audit work plans and client deliverables
Requirements
Bachelors in Commerce or MBA
Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA
2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit related field
Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS
Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication (English)
Experience in Industrial Goods industry preferred
Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word and PowerPoint
