Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure compliance with applicable standards, internal procedures and legislation;
Participate in meetings (calls) and prepare detailed minutes of the meetings;
Provide guidance and technical support to accounting teams and other related departments;
Optimize team processes and work practices to promote efficiency and quality;
Develop and enhance tools and systems used in operations;
Lead the technical and behavioral development of employees, strengthening their competencies;
Implement continuous improvements in the ERP system for greater operational effectiveness;
Plan, prepare and deliver relevant training for the team and clients;
Prepare strategic management reports, providing valuable insights for decision-making;
Plan and execute tax planning strategies for clients;
Identify and analyze potential impacts resulting from accounting failures, proposing solutions;
Manage special projects, ensuring delivery within expected timelines and quality;
Supervise and coordinate all accounting activities of the company;
Identify and capture new business opportunities to drive organizational growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent);
Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council);
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and related tools;
Advanced or fluent English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
