Audit Trainee

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the audit team with planning.
- Document analytical reviews in the areas being tested.
- Perform basic audit procedures in lower-complexity areas.
- Assist with physical inventory counts.
- Prepare working-paper documentation for vouchers and other documentary tests.
- Formalize and document tests performed according to training and guidance.
- Seek guidance from the supervisor regarding any discrepancies found in order to resolve them.
- Assist the team as requested by the supervisor.
- Inspect and document summaries of various contracts.
- Manage the sending and receipt of confirmation requests (circularization).
- Follow the work program for simpler areas and document conclusions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or graduated within the last 2 years in Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Business Administration.
