About the role

  • Conduct initial meetings with recurring clients to align the engagement;
  • Customize and adapt audit work programs according to each client’s needs;
  • Document planning and risk assessment in PPA engagements;
  • Prepare the complete audit plan for smaller clients (net revenue up to R$ 50 million);
  • Document the overall understanding of the entity, materiality and audit strategy;
  • Assist in the preliminary review of financial statements, ensuring correct application of applicable standards;
  • Review working papers prepared by assistants and trainees, ensuring quality and compliance;
  • Track time spent on client engagements and review team timesheets;
  • Prepare recommendation reports and preliminary audit reports in accordance with applicable standards;
  • Document process narratives and validate any identified deficiencies;
  • Record criteria established for journal entries, subsequent events and inventory counts/results;
  • Formalize conclusions and review final audit documentation;
  • Determine adjustments, discuss identified deficiencies with the team and the client, and propose solutions;
  • Lead preliminary discussions about weaknesses and adjustments with clients of medium and lower complexity (net revenue between R$ 50 and R$ 100 million);
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to the immediately junior team members, promoting technical development;
  • Clarify low-complexity questions related to the audit methodology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Economics, Business Administration or Actuarial Science;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred;
  • Intermediate English proficiency preferred.
