About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- In addition to supervisory and coaching duties for the LOA Systems team, this position is responsible for project planning and prioritization of projects.
- The role is responsible for the data integrity, accurate and efficient operation, and functions of the Matrix Leave System(s), while adhering to Matrix Best Practices.
- Project plan and staff for new client implementations and ongoing client leave maintenance.
- Assist in communicating issues/escalations to Account Managers and/or Implementation Managers and work towards resolution with them.
- Create new client profiles, configuring policies, loading logos, and correspondence for new clients as well as existing clients adding new policies.
- Troubleshoot issues reported via work orders.
- Work as a liaison with Sedgwick for issues as they arise.
- Test system enhancements prior to roll out, communicating enhancement roll outs, develop and provide training materials to the training department to support new functionality and processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
- At least 5 years’ experience as a LOA Systems Specialist.
- PHR designation preferred.
- Experience in Superuser functions.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, plus math skills required.
- Ability to gather, analyze and organize data to make educated decisions.
- Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to think in an analytical manner for troubleshooting and program design.
- Must have an aptitude for logic and systems programming.
- Ability to Travel: Up to 10%
