About the role

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, regionally led marketing programmes—from data analysis and shaping strategic briefs that address customer pain points to overseeing full execution.
  • Ensure alignment with priority sectors and customer personas while balancing regional direction with effective local market activation.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and strategic teams—including ESG, brand, and supplier marketing—to uncover key insights that strengthen RS’s proposition and drive strategic narratives.
  • Act as a central connector between regional and local teams, ensuring market nuances, priorities, and customer needs are embedded into campaign planning and execution.
  • Lead the messaging and creative development process, ensuring briefs are clear, compelling, and actionable for the internal studio.
  • Develop and present comprehensive Vertical packs that articulate campaign strategy, creative direction, and execution plans to senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Guide the development of campaign assets and content, leveraging your understanding of channel best practices to maximise customer engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide senior stakeholders with actionable insights by reviewing and presenting campaign performance,
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for two direct reports. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Experience in regional marketing, driving cross-functional initiatives and impactful campaigns.
  • Track record of running multi-market campaigns, with focus on industries or customer persona.
  • Broad marketing background across various channels and industries.
  • B2B industrial experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good communication and organisation skills.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic for what we do.
  • Curious for ‘what’s next’ and ‘how do we improve’.
  • Data and Insight driven decision making experience.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in one language between French, German, or Italian is highly valued in this role.
