About the role
- Define the creative direction of assigned design projects, ensuring alignment with broader business strategies and objectives.
- Lead end-to-end process of design projects, taking ownership and successfully executing each phase of creative development on target, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute design strategies that support key business initiatives.
- Provide design oversight for projects, ensuring high standards for quality, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Act as a key creative consultant for leadership and stakeholders, ensuring that all design projects reflect the vision and goals.
- Develop and implement best practices for design workflows, improving efficiency and output across teams.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design solutions that will resonate with target audiences.
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time and on budget, while optimizing team resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience with retail display design within the beauty brands industry, creating engaging in-store and promotional displays a plus.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
- Strong client management and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to define work based on evaluation of short-term and long-term goals of the department.
- Ability to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate them into overall work objectives.
- Experience overseeing design budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
