About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute SEO strategies that drive rankings, organic traffic, lead generation, and business growth
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
Collaborate with content, development, and design teams to execute SEO initiatives
Create and manage long-term content and optimization roadmaps
Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and business outcomes
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues
Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles and local SEO initiatives
Analyze competitors, industry trends, and search opportunities
Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and changes in search behavior
Evaluate the impact of AI-driven search experiences and recommend strategic adjustments
Present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Mentor and support junior SEO team members when applicable
Potentially manage one or more SEO team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of SEO experience managing competitive SEO campaigns and client accounts
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and on-page optimization
Experience managing multiple SEO projects or client accounts simultaneously
Experience using Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, and Google Business Profile
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience communicating directly with clients and presenting recommendations
Agency experience preferred
Experience working with law firms or legal marketing clients preferred
Experience managing or mentoring SEO team members preferred
Familiarity with E-E-A-T principles and content strategy development preferred
Knowledge of AI-driven search trends, AI Overviews, AEO, GEO, and emerging search technologies preferred
WordPress experience preferred
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
