About the role
- Actively participate in refinement sessions, using the opportunity to learn and propose testable acceptance criteria
- Actively participate in shift-left meetings by creating test scenarios for requests
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans
- Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and frontends, aligning automation with the product’s critical flows
- Execute integration tests, data validation, and end-to-end tests, focusing on real system coverage
- Act proactively in testing, maintaining an emphasis on identifying and anticipating quality issues
- Collaborate with developers, Product Owners (POs) and other stakeholders to ensure continuous quality throughout the software lifecycle
- Pursue continuous improvement to help the team evaluate QA tools, methods and metrics, proposing improvements aligned with market best practices
- Support structuring the QA area within the squad, contributing to processes, best practices and quality standards
- Be proactive in seeking technical references to resolve problems
- Contribute to team growth and the quality culture
- Contribute to implementing test strategies in distributed environments, ensuring reliability, traceability and reproducibility of deliveries.
Requirements
- Knowledge of test automation using Java and Cypress
- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Rest Assured, Cucumber and TestNG, or similar
- Knowledge of SQL databases for creating test data and validation
- Knowledge of testing strategies and test types
- Familiarity and ease with white-box testing
- Familiarity with React for understanding and static analysis of component structure and main supporting libraries
- Experience with Git and Gitflow, and familiarity with integration into CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of performance testing (JMeter or K6)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS), including designing and executing tests in distributed and scalable environments
