About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the on time, on budget, and on scope delivery of large-scale projects
- Manage a team of 5-15 people across multiple projects
- Manage costs and validate capital forecasts for projects up to $1B
- Communicate project interdependencies effectively
- Identify and document project risks and facilitate problem-solving sessions
- Establish and enforce project governance and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in a project management related field or other relevant discipline
- MBA and professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, etc.) highly preferred
- 10 or more years of experience in project/program management in related fields
- Minimum of 7+ years leading, hiring and managing high caliber professionals
- Will require travel (20-30% for much of the project, up to 50-80%)
- Expert in analysis, forecasting, problem solving, and quality improvement
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven experience building relationships and influencing others
- Extensive experience in managing high-risk projects and programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of project/portfolio management methodologies and techniques.
- Strong analytical, creative, and critical thinking skills
