About the role

  • Implement partnership/alliances opportunities to strengthen Silversea revenue generating capabilities and market position across NSW and ACT
  • Develop and implement robust strategic sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand our customer base
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for Director of Sales and management
  • Support activations, visibility and reach of Silversea products within the trade channel
  • Drive development and implementation of differentiated service and value proposition opportunities
  • Support area sales teams in activating new agencies as well as accelerating growth of existing partners
  • Drive NSW and ACT trade channel in selecting and marketing the right opportunities and products
  • Be a subject matter expert in the area of both classic and expedition sales
  • Support area sales teams in driving strategic/high value group business
  • Project manage and drive strategic initiatives defined by Director of Sales

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent
  • 7 years or more in a position that required high level of project management and operational management is a plus
  • 2 years or more of experience in cruise or travel industry, tour operator related business, or experience in destination product development or operations
  • Rounded sales professional in a variety of experience in sales development roles
  • Proven track record of success in fast-paced environment with demanding timelines
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Understanding of the luxury travel market preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
