About the role

  • lead and oversee complex interior design projects from initial concept development through final execution
  • ensure that all initiatives are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and brand alignment
  • coordinate the full scope of interior design project activities, develop strategic plans, and act as the primary liaison between ownership and third‑party design partners
  • define project scope, manage budgets and schedules, mentor junior team members, and provide oversight for large‑scale, high‑visibility design initiatives
  • ensure effective administrative, design, and technical execution across all assigned projects, maintaining efficiency and cost‑effectiveness while upholding the integrity of the brand’s design vision
  • manage project communications and documentation, supporting departmental operational needs, and overseeing team assignments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum of 12+ years of related design experience hospitality, Retail / Dining / Entertainment (RDE), theme park projects, as well as a minimum of 6 years of project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage projects from concept through completion, with a strong command of space planning, material selection, FF&E specifications, and client relationships
  • Experience on campus style developments (multiple buildings)
  • Familiarity with coastal developments with covered outdoor (unconditioned) areas
  • Must be able to lead a team on projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lumion software
  • Strong planning and mentoring skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to travel
