About the role
- Work with NB Technical personnel, shipyard, and third-party advisors to build cost estimates for specific vessel design and technical elements
- Maintain cost tracking for evolving technical and design developments
- Help identify, validate and quantify cost avoidance and cost savings opportunities
- Serve as the on‑site finance liaison supporting white paper projects, sister ship programs, and upgrade/change initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in cost engineering, technical estimation, shipyard operations, or newbuild project support
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and vessel system components
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to influence yard and cross‑functional teams
