About the role
- Supports the global Dry Dock procurement strategy through advanced analytics, sourcing execution, benchmarking, and commercial modeling.
- Lead RFP activities, analyze complex shipyard proposals, evaluate commercial terms, prepare negotiation packages, and support contracting processes.
- Conduct supplier/shipyard evaluations, commercial analyses, and scoring during sourcing events.
- Build and maintain detailed tariff mapping models across global shipyards.
- Perform advanced cost modeling, sensitivity analysis, scenario simulations, and total cost of ownership evaluations.
- Develop analytical negotiation packages for the Dry Dock Manager and Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or commercial experience, preferably in industrial, maritime, or technical categories.
- Proven experience leading RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical capabilities: cost modeling, tariff analysis, benchmarking, scenario modeling.
- Advanced Excel; strong Power BI or analytics tools experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into commercial and cost impacts.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, able to support senior‑level negotiations.
