About the role
- Support execution and delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with short- and long-term goals for the Global Marine Operations organization.
- Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and translate these into actionable priorities & project plans.
- Support the development of and track progress / KPIs of strategic and annual operating plans for the Global Marine organization.
- Build dashboards and automate reporting tools to enable data-driven decision making.
- Prepare compelling executive / board level presentations and materials.
- Lead special projects to support delivery of Marine strategy and represent Marine in enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate collaborative working sessions with varied stakeholders to develop cross-functional solutions that improve operational performance, alignment, and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties to support evolving business needs.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in business, hospitality, finance, engineering or a related analytical field; Master’s Degree in a related field is a plus.
- 3-5 years of relevant analytical work experience required.
- Experience in a management consulting firm or relevant strategic function at a corporation is preferred.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a proven ability to break down complex business challenges and develop strategic solutions.
- Understanding of financial principles and experience building complex financial models.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including financial modeling), SQL, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Essbase, Tableau, Visio, or similar tools is a plus.
