About the role
- Oversees events that enhance the global employee experience
- Owns the end-to-end design and flawless execution of internal events that strengthen culture, collaboration, and employee engagement
- Plans 10+ events a year, ranging from large scale events to small scale onsite events
- Works independently with support from the broader Employee Experience Team
- Recruits employee volunteers to support event execution
- Maintains strong cross-functional partnerships with facilities and vendors
- Leverages technology to deliver measurable impact
- Blends strategic thinking with hands-on project management
- Excels at vendor negotiation and maintains many details at once
- Coordinates well with all partners and has critical eye for continued improvement
Requirements
- 7+ years event planning or project management experience
- End-to-end event lifecycle expertise: concept to debrief, with strong post-event evaluation and ROI measurement
- Cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management: collaborates with multiple teams, leads volunteers, and influences without direct authority
- Financial and vendor management: budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contract negotiation, cost control, and risk management
- Hybrid/virtual event technology and accessibility: AV, registration platforms, multi-location coordination, and best practices
- Communication, analytics, and problem-solving: exceptional writing and presentation skills, executive-ready reporting, metrics-driven insights, and event troubleshooting.
