About the role

- The Manager oversees and coordinates technical, design, financial feasibility and execution
- The person in this position owns overall responsibility of defined technical project(s) design, execution, completion and leads of teams, including consultants and contractors/suppliers throughout the integration and installation process onboard the vessel
- The Manager ensures defined projects completion and flawlessly delivered according to the contracts and specifications
- The person is in charge of the successful project completion in these defined areas is including maintaining the budget within given project overall boundaries
- Works in close collaboration between internal and external stakeholders are key to successful outcome
- Hand over to Operations with drawings, manuals, trainings if necessary.
Requirements
- In-depth 10 years’ experience in the shipbuilding / maritime industry
- strong leadership and communication skills
- experienced in management of complicated projects in a multi-cultural environment
- Detailed understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements for works
- good understanding of shipbuilding processes and design
- deep knowledge of solas, imo, classification rules and regulations, other marine standards
- excellent skills in people management
- Computer literate
- fluency in english
- Ability to endure high stress levels
