About the role

  • The Manager oversees and coordinates technical, design, financial feasibility and execution
  • The person in this position owns overall responsibility of defined technical project(s) design, execution, completion and leads of teams, including consultants and contractors/suppliers throughout the integration and installation process onboard the vessel
  • The Manager ensures defined projects completion and flawlessly delivered according to the contracts and specifications
  • The person is in charge of the successful project completion in these defined areas is including maintaining the budget within given project overall boundaries
  • Works in close collaboration between internal and external stakeholders are key to successful outcome
  • Hand over to Operations with drawings, manuals, trainings if necessary.

Requirements

  • In-depth 10 years’ experience in the shipbuilding / maritime industry
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • experienced in management of complicated projects in a multi-cultural environment
  • Detailed understanding of the technical and regulatory requirements for works
  • good understanding of shipbuilding processes and design
  • deep knowledge of solas, imo, classification rules and regulations, other marine standards
  • excellent skills in people management
  • Computer literate
  • fluency in english
  • Ability to endure high stress levels
