About the role
- Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and competitive research and analyses to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks and models to evaluate business opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine corporate strategy and long-term goals.
- Deeply study the customer and derive demand-based insights to recommend new strategies for the organization.
- Build financial models to support business analysis and underwriting of strategic investments.
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL to develop and own corporate strategy data tables, create custom queries, and perform custom data analyses on a recurring basis to support strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate comfort in programming languages such as Python or R to automate data extraction, transformation, and analytic processes.
- Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Create and deliver comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate strategy and/or data analytics role
- Proven track record of utilizing data analytics to drive strategic decisions and business growth.
- Proficiency in SQL is a must.
- Proficiency in other programming languages such as Python or R are preferred, but not required.
- Strong expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems and optimization (e.g., Oracle/Hyperion/SQL Server/Toad/Databricks).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
