About the role

  • Responsible for selling all Royal Brass and Hose products to new and existing accounts.
  • Develops relationships to achieve profitable sales volume and margin growth.
  • Expands sales within existing accounts with a focus on customer service.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and solves customer problems effectively.
  • Tracks and monitors account activity, anticipates and prevents problems.
  • Submits accurate and timely sales reports and maintains account records.
  • Proactively seeks product and market information from vendors.
  • Qualifies in various incentive programs yearly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of successful outside sales experience with related products and markets preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
  • Effective listening, communications (verbal and written) and negotiating skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of motivation, passion, integrity, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong computer skills (EXCEL, POWER POINT, WORD).
  • Good, safe driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Industrial distribution experience is preferred.
  • OEM and MRO experience desirable- oilfield experience is a plus.
  • Experience in hose or fluid power industry is also a plus.
  • Drug free.
  • Not restricted by an applicable non-compete or non-solicitation agreement.
