3D Modeler
Royal BAM Group3D Modeler developing construction models to support planning and project delivery. Collaborating with engineers and planners in remote role with occasional travel in the UK.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce and develop high‑quality 3D construction models and engineering outputs
- Focus on cut and fill analysis, earthworks modelling, CAD‑based engineering production, and detailed construction modelling
- Work closely with engineers, planners, and project delivery teams
- Ensure that all models are technically robust, accurate, and fit for purpose
- Validate construction methodology through 3D
- Assist in ensuring that the models are suitable for achieving the goals and objectives described in the BIM Execution Plan
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding the requirements of the Digital engineering output
- Contribute to best practice guidance in the DPS Centres of Excellence (COEs)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical education or 1-2 years' experience in Construction or related fields
- 1-2 years’ experience working on construction projects in digital domain
- Knowledge of BIM coordination process is beneficial but not mandatory
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use time productively, maximise efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Must hold a satisfactory level of technical competency relating to construction project technology focused specifically on 3D modelling
