About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Business Development Associate is responsible for driving new client acquisition for the company’s multifamily property management portfolio.
  • This role focuses exclusively on identifying, cultivating, and converting new management opportunities while collaborating closely with operations, marketing, and executive leadership.
  • Proactively source new third-party property management opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, investors, brokers, lenders, and industry partners.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through contract execution.
  • Develop and present customized management proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on activity and performance.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate underwriting, pricing, and onboarding.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in multifamily property management, real estate, and related sales role
  • Proven success in relationship-based sales or business development
  • Strong understanding of multifamily operations, financial performance, and owner priorities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Must have Property Management experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and proposal software a plus.
