About the role

  • Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, communications, and confidential information with discretion
  • Coordinate and prepare briefings, reports, presentations, speeches, and correspondence to enable the CEO’s effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee the planning and execution of CEO-hosted functions and events, ensuring seamless delivery and professional representation of the organisation
  • Manage significant budgets and financial processes, including approvals, reconciliations, and reporting, while overseeing facilities and contract management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration across the organisation and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Champion a culture of safety by actively promoting Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards, ensuring compliance, and fostering open dialogue to keep safety front of mind for all

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional support at the highest levels
  • Experience in a similar senior executive or project support role — ideally within the mining, construction, or oil and gas sectors
  • Deep understanding of working in complex, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including government, industry bodies, and corporate partners
  • Highly articulate and detail-focused with demonstrated expertise in preparing speeches, presentations, and executive correspondence
  • Tech-savvy with advanced skills in Microsoft Office, document management systems, SAP, and other business tools.
  • Highest level of discretion, sound judgment, and critical thinking
  • Thrive on managing competing priorities, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement
