About the role

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Assist in preparation of external reporting deliverables for auditors, lenders, investors, and external advisors
  • Support preparation of financial statement footnotes, including support for complex and non-routine transactions
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across entities, projects, and joint ventures
  • Assist in research and documentation under U.S. GAAP
  • Prepare initial drafts of technical accounting memos and supporting analyses
  • Support accounting for complex transactions, including development activities and capital projects
  • Assist in maintaining accounting policies and documentation
  • Prepare schedules supporting REIT compliance processes
  • Maintain documentation and support packages for REIT compliance and external advisor review
  • Assist with ERP implementation efforts, including data validation, testing accounting workflows, and supporting reporting structures
  • Identify and implement process improvements within close and reporting cycles
  • Own assigned accounting areas and deliverables end-to-end
  • Deliver accurate and timely outputs in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively identify issues and escalate to the Senior Manager as appropriate
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–6+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Experience in Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) preferred
  • Experience in Infrastructure, real estate, or data center environments preferred
  • Exposure to Lease accounting (ASC 842) preferred
  • Exposure to technical accounting research and memo preparation preferred
  • Exposure to REIT concepts or compliance processes preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) preferred
