About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist in preparation of external reporting deliverables for auditors, lenders, investors, and external advisors
Support preparation of financial statement footnotes, including support for complex and non-routine transactions
Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across entities, projects, and joint ventures
Assist in research and documentation under U.S. GAAP
Prepare initial drafts of technical accounting memos and supporting analyses
Support accounting for complex transactions, including development activities and capital projects
Assist in maintaining accounting policies and documentation
Prepare schedules supporting REIT compliance processes
Maintain documentation and support packages for REIT compliance and external advisor review
Assist with ERP implementation efforts, including data validation, testing accounting workflows, and supporting reporting structures
Identify and implement process improvements within close and reporting cycles
Own assigned accounting areas and deliverables end-to-end
Deliver accurate and timely outputs in a fast-paced environment
Proactively identify issues and escalate to the Senior Manager as appropriate
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3–6+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Analytical mindset with problem-solving capability
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Experience in Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) preferred
Experience in Infrastructure, real estate, or data center environments preferred
Exposure to Lease accounting (ASC 842) preferred
Exposure to technical accounting research and memo preparation preferred
Exposure to REIT concepts or compliance processes preferred
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, or similar) preferred
