About the role
- Provides lifecycle electrical expertise, developing standards, validating designs, and supporting construction and operations to ensure high-availability systems
- Oversees performance and reliability across electrical power distribution, protection systems, standby power, and controls integration
- Partners with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement upgrades and assess technical changes
- Reviews engineering designs and evaluates electrical topologies for compliance with operational requirements
- Validates electrical system performance during commissioning phases and supports incident reviews
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with mission-critical electrical systems, including Medium- and low-voltage power distribution, Protective relaying and coordination, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and transfer schemes
- The ability to work across engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams and make independent technical judgments in high-stakes environments
