About the role
- Collaborate with product and design to shape product scope and behavior
- Build customer-facing products to enable pet grooming booking on Rover
- Own projects from end to end, from ideation to launch
- Drive innovation and transform project into reality
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders
- Help junior engineers grow their skills
- Deliver efficient solutions with appropriate polish
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a professional software developer
- Proficiency in full-stack development
- A track record of successfully leading projects from ideation to launch
- Experience helping junior engineers grow their skills
- Intuitive sense for when a solution is "good enough" versus when it requires additional polish
- Willingness and ability to work directly with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented environment, aligning with Rover's Core Values
- Familiarity with Python/Django, React, and React Native is ideal
- Willingness to learn the tech stack
- Enjoy owning projects from end to end
