About the role
- Edit a wide range of video content, including: Long-form branded storytelling, eCommerce-focused product videos, Paid ads with strong hooks and clear conversion intent, Social-first and platform-native content (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Translate creative direction and brand guidelines into polished, on-brand video executions
- Craft compelling narratives through pacing, sound design, music, and visual rhythm
- Conceptualize and generate new video ideas that push the brand forward while staying aligned with our visual and tonal standards
- Understand how different video formats function across platforms and optimize edits for performance
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, stylists, producers, and internal stakeholders
- Manage audio selection, sound design, and finishing details with care and intention
- Work independently, manage deadlines, and problem-solve creatively with minimal supervision
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience
- Strong portfolio or reel showcasing storytelling, brand, and performance-oriented work
- Proficiency in: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve
- Strong sense of timing, sequencing, composition, and visual flow
- Solid understanding of sound design and music integration
- Ability to work independently and hit deadlines consistently
- Familiarity with emerging AI tools and how they can support creative workflows
