About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review agreements to determine the correct revenue treatment under the guidance of ASC 606.
Investigate billing, contract, and revenue recognition issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Assist in month-end close process and prepare revenue related account reconciliations
Assist in documentation/implementation of revenue accounting processes and internal controls.
Support business processes by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting.
Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer billing concerns, system errors, and process inefficiencies.
Participate in various system automation and enhancement projects to promote more timely and accurate financial reporting
Support request for either financial or tax authority audit or review, and other ad-hoc requests

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Accounting
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex revenue transactions, identify discrepancies, resolve billing and revenue recognition issues, and implement process improvements that enhance financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Strong communication skills via multiple platforms and tools.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Team player with strong work ethic
Experience working in a complex ERP system; Sage Intacct is strongly preferred
Working experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
Efficient with Microsoft Excel
