About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that power our Claims and Returns lifecycle
- Build automated systems to streamline claim resolutions and reduce manual intervention
- Develop fraud prevention tools and workflows to protect customers and merchants
- Create internal tools and APIs to empower the Customer Service team to provide efficient and effective support
- Lead technical design discussions and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data, and Support teams
- Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and performance through code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud deployment strategies on AWS
- Work on customer-obsessed team building next-generation technologies for post-purchase experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development or fullstack
- Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Golang - preferred, Java, C#, Python, etc.)
- Solid experience with AWS and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with React and frontend development
- Proven ability to design and scale distributed systems and APIs
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Passion for creating seamless, user-friendly experiences
- Experience in E-Commerce is a plus
