About the role
- Find and qualify leads through desk research
- Reach out and attract attention of the potential customers through means of email marketing, social media interaction, and calls, without causing disturbance to leads
- Create sufficient flow of leads into the sales pipeline; ensure progression from lead to customer
- Identify pain points of the customer, overcome objections, generate concrete interest
- Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering teams to prepare pricing and proposals
- Respond to customer requests within a given time frame, following the service level agreements in the company
- Meet and exceed quotas
- Following the conversations and agreements made in the process from procurement to sales and delivery; managing documentation; planning and attending to customer and manufacturer meetings
- Project management activities such as collecting quotations, product pricing, controlling production processes and managing all other necessary arrangement to the very end of sales process
- Preparation of procurement and sales agreements
- Supervision of the procurement process
- Measuring and improving customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish is a must for this role.
- Eagerness to learn about modern manufacturing technologies and develop in these areas
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to deliver results
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- For slightly senior candidates, ability to travel 20% of the time abroad (almost entirely in North-Western Europe) is a must and a driving licence is required.
- Bachelor or master’s degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing engineering
- Experience in marketing, sales, or business development, or strong interest in these areas
- Preferably graduated from METU/ODTÜ, Bilkent and the likes
- Experience working with different cultures (preferably, Western European)
- Experience in manufacturing technologies
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience in using a CAD software
- Previous experience in budgetary position
- Experience with a CRM software
- Good command of Turkish
- Strong communications skills, solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Project management skills, or keen interest in learning Project Management
- Residency in Ankara
- No military obligation for male candidates
