About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a key role in advancing the Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions opportunity pipeline
- Cultivate strategic, long‑term commercial relationships across North America
- Lead the sourcing and development of M&A opportunities through proactive market engagement
- Build credibility and generate actionable market intelligence
- Evaluate potential targets for strategic and financial alignment
- Oversee initial commercial due diligence
- Deliver high‑impact insights and executive‑ready materials
- Work in close partnership with Corporate Development, M&A Transactions, and cross‑functional leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development in the energy/utilities/industrial technology sector
- Proven track record of leading transactions and strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- In-depth understanding of industrial technology trends
- Experience working in a global environment and matrixed organisation
